It's your special day so . . . when engaged, one of the MOST IMPORTANT factors of a good reception is definitely the ENTERTAINMENT!  The entertainment is used to set the mood and entertain all of your guests. If not chosen properly, guests may not enjoy your special event! That is why, we at Russell Sound Lab, are devoted to making sure that your reception is run smoothly and filled with fun for all!

Many questions arise when planning a reception, so Russell Sound Lab has an exclusive RECEPTION PLANNER. This planner has been designed to answer all question on HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR RECEPTION. The planner literally takes you from the moment you walk in the door, to the minute you decide to leave. This is a nice way to know what is going on ahead of time and not have to worry about remembering anything that night! These three sheets are presented to the couple at the time of contracting with Russell Sound Lab. The planner is one of the reasons why we like to meet WITH YOU BEFORE HAND. We will even leave it with you along with a music request sheet to refer to for later plans. (You will find the planner to be helpful to your photographer and caterer also.)

The SOUND EQUIPMENT we provide is among the very best in the area, using the latest in digital technology. Some of the names we use in our systems include jbl, mackie, qsc, and denon. Furthermore we are totally computerized with our music playlists for quick access to your favorite requests!

We also offer complete backup equipment in every truck for your piece of mind the night of your event! We are prepared for anything electronically to get the job done. We even have a backup truck, system and dj on call every saturday of the year just in case! In short, we're prepared and above all we don't over book or sub-contract our work out!

LIGHT SHOWS are a big part of Russell Sound Lab and we are the leader in Northeast Ohio with portable light shows. From FOG and BUBBLES, to LASERS and some MAJOR CLUB LIGHTING. This is all available to make the evening even more exciting and above all the most enjoyable for your quests.

Our D.J.’s are experienced professionals with wedding receptions. All the activities and announcements made that evening will be handled in a smooth, professional manner. All of the plans for the evening will be on our planner and will be reviewed with you during your dinner. He will cover oldies to Top 40’s, country and even some polkas so that all ages will enjoy!
